Purple Lips for Fall

Statement lips are the #1 thing people to focus on in the Fall. Personally, I am able to pull off a red lip far easier than a purple lip, but I have found some that work wonders for me. Introducing: my favourite purple lips.

2/3 of these shades, are much redder toned which goes better with my skin tone, but the 3rd is very bold and I fell instantly in love with it.

First, Maybelline Color Whisper in Berry Ready. This was my very first transition into a purple lip. It’s such an easy colour to wear but still stands out quite nicely.
Second is the Wet n Wild Megaslick Balm in Lady and the Vamp (which is a cute name, I must say!). I thought this would be a lot darker than it is but I feel like the sheer wash of colour works really well for me. A very dark purple that you could mix with, let’s say, Shameless from the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm I reviewed a few posts ago if you want something much more intense.
Last is the brightest and boldest of the bunch, and that is Violet by Bite Beauty. This is a fantastic shade that I actually hadn’t tried out until about a week ago but I am now obsessed. Very bold and beautiful. The only beef I really have with it is that upon my second application, it broke in half. I don’t know whether that’s a common problem as this is the second Bite Beauty lipstick I have tried.

What’s your go to purple lip?

Have you tried any of these?

Til next time, ttfn x
