Sephora, Trade Secrets and MAC Haul

T’is (almost) the season for some shopping! I have to admit, I went a little overboard with the nail polish, but it is my favourite beauty product so it’s ok, right?
Sticking to 3 categories, I got nail polish, skin care and cosmetics. Let’s start with the nails!
nail polish haul
I got my hands on a few of the Gwen Stefani Holiday polishes by OPI on sale, as well as a few from older collections that I hadn’t had the chance to pick up.
opi rollin in cashmere, comet in the sky, snow globetrotter
Here are the 3 from the Holiday collection that I got (thus far). They came in a bundle but all of them were buy 2 get 1 free at Trade Secrets. My mission was to get the beautiful black glitter, Comet In The Sky, but Rollin’ In The Cashmere and Snow Globetrotter completed the set.

opi thanks a windmillion and alpine snow
I also got the Skys My Limit  (Mustang), Viking in a Vinter Vonderland (Nordic) and Thanks A Windmillion (Holland), plus the classic, Alpine Snow. I am wearing Viking In A Vinter Vonderland in the pic!
essie sea me shine
bling nail art
While I was at Trade Secrets for the OPI polish, they were having a sale on select nail wraps as well so I picked up the 2 I found interesting. An Essie set called Sea Me Shine! which I haven’t tried before and a Bling set.
sally hansen azure and loreal the temptress touch
I also was given a few as a gift recently: a Sally Hansen Lustre Shine polish in Azure and L’Oreal’s The Temptress Touch polish. That L’Oreal polish is next on my list to wear! It looks gorgeous!
clinique acne solutions oil control mask and sephora green tea mask
Next, for skin care, I got 2 new masks from Sephora. Masks are my favourite form of skin care, but I have only tried a handful from Sephora. This is the Clinique Acne Solutions Oil Control Cleansing Mask and the Sephora Green Tea Sheet Mask. I have never tried a sheet mask before! I will let you know how these two hold up!
Finally, Cosmetics. I went a little overboard.
mac rocky horror frank 'n' furter
Starting with my MAC purchases, I got the best (in my opinion) release from the Rocky Horror collection and that is the Frank N Furter lipstick. I am very nearly in love with it.
mac prep + prime and mac rose pigment
My area just had a MAC store open as well, so I picked up a mini Rose pigment and the Prep and Prime Fix + spray.
Too Faced Shimmering Marshmellow Bunny, Naked Dolly, Spice Spice Baby
too faced Christmas under the mistletoe lipstick swatches 2014
From Sephora, I bought a few new releases and a few replacements. For new releases, I got the Too Faced Under The Mistletoe lipstick bundle. I have never tried their lipsticks and these were a fantastic deal. I have heard a lot of complaints about the frost in them, which there definitely is, but I think they are gorgeous regardless.
benefit christmas cheeky sweet spot blushes 2014
I feel like I am one of the few people not in love with Benefit products, but that being said, their blushes are some of the most raved about. I figured I would give them a try and they have not disappointed! So far, I am most impressed with Coralista and Hoola shades. Gorgeous and pigmented. Not photographed is also a container of Watts Up, which I have tried before but wasn’t a fan of.
too faced better than sex and urban decay 24/7 glide on eye pencil in woodstock swatch
Lastly, I picked up a new Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara which is hands down my favourite mascara, and a 24/7 Eyeliner from Urban Decay. The formula and staying power of this liner cannot be beat, so I picked up a fun pink colour.

Have you started holiday shopping?

Have you picked up any holiday releases?

Til next time, ttfn x
