Drugstore and Colourpop Haul

Have I ever done a drugstore haul? I think the answer is no. However, over the past few months, I have been taking a look at products and brands I haven’t tried before but have hear a whole lot about. As usual, I wanted to grab a few new things and ended up with a whole bunch of a few new things. Isn’t that always the way it goes? Anyways, I went to a few different places: Rexall, Shoppers, Colourpop.com, a local Dollar Store and my mothers house. Does anyone else shop at their moms? I frequently take bits of make up, skin care, or whatever else that she either doesn’t like or bought but hasn’t used? It’s fantastic, let me tell you!

First off, some CBB Brand Of The Month products. March was NYC and naturally, I wanted to grab a few things. Show are NYC lipsticks in Pure Coral and Blue Rose, as well as the NYC Matte Top Coat that I reviewed!

I am also on the hunt for a good white eyeliner so I picked up this Jordana Eye Liner which I have tried and am really disappointed with. It is either so old that it has dried up or it simply sucks. A few Essence products including the Essence nail stamping kit to try out (forgot to take a picture, oops). So far, it hasn’t gone too well but we shall see! I also grabbed the All About Sunrise palette that I have drooled over a few times. L’oreal Infallible eye shadow in Champagne Beige which I used in my most recent tutorial.

This Revlon HD Lipstick is one of the things my mom passed along. She didn’t like how it felt on her lips and I kind of agree. It has a weird texture. I also picked out a few new (to me) Montagne Jeunesse masks which, as you know, I love. I was also on the hunt for a new shampoo and grabbed the Marc Anthony Volumizing Collagen Bamboo Shampoo while it was on sale at Shoppers. Also, a Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Plum Wine from Target during their liquidation.

Another polish to add to the collection is Rimmel’s “Mind The Gap, Victoria” which I used for some Cinderella Nail Art. Another Rimmel product I wanted to test out is the Lasting Finish Foundation in the lightest shade they have (010 Light Porcelain).

I decided to give Colorpop a try and ordered a shadow, 2 blushes and a lipstick. The Super Shock Pressed Pigment is in Erotic, while the Super Shock Cheek blushes are Aphrodisiac and Pegacorn. The Lipstick is in Cookie which is a lovely nude that I love. Perhaps I will do a few swatches!

Life Brand Cleansing Cloths which I think replaced the Balea ones I had been using…

Many of these were fantastic finds and may or may not be in my coming Favourites/Unfavourites post coming up soon. If you want my opinion on anything, don’t hesitate to ask!

Til next time, ttfn x
