Pretty Spring Pastels

With the change is season comes a change in colour pallets and spring is all about the soft and girly pastels. While not all of these are exactly a pastel, I think they are all soft and beautiful for the next few weeks of spring.

Traditionally, red doesn’t yell spring, but this soft tomato red from Revlon in Fearless has been catching my eye for the past few weeks. I love the colour so much though it isn’t your usual sort of red. That’s what makes it pretty perfect for this time of year!

A fantastic orange find is the Sally Hansen Smooth and Perfect polish in Sorbet. It reminds me of a popsicle more than orange sorbet, but all in all, this very light orange is the perfect addition to this list. I couldn’t resist.

Yellow nail polish is a tricky thing to find but this one has done me no wrong yet. OPI’s I Just Can’t Cope-acabana is a perfect light and bright spring colour that doesn’t look odd on the nails! I am wearing it on my toes right now too.

This could be argued but Mint Candy Apple by Essie to me is a blue and you really can’t convince me otherwise. It’s a beautiful pale Aqua that is an Essie classic. Regardless of what colour it is, it is perfect for the spring time with its lightly tinted hue.

And onto my favourite colour, purple. Another Essie favourite of mine is Under Where? which is a fantastic powdered purple pink that I have already dug into.

Lastly, a pinky shade that I have talked about before: Cardshark by Revlon. Recognize it from my Matte Me Crazy review? The formula for these are the best for staying power and smooth application.

That’s my Roy G. Biv of spring colours. I almost had one for every colour! What colours have you been aching to wear now that the warmer weather is on its way?

Til next time, ttfn x
