All About Neon Eyes

This month is all about colour. I love being totally decked out in every colour of the rainbow (it just occurs to me, I haven’t done many looks featuring a lot of bold colour…yet) but I thought I should show off my neons.

This week is EYES. I have talked about colourful eyeliner recently so I won’t repeat myself, but I have two sets of eye shadows I ALWAYS use when I want some funky colours. I have also reviewed the BH Cosmetics Take Me To Brazil palette which is FULL of beautiful colours for an amazing price. The pigmentation is phenomenal though it does crease a little bit throughout the day.

For a higher end option, I love the Urban Decay Electric palette. Full of bright neons that can be used together or in conjunction with other eye shadow looks, it blends so well, is so full of colour, and the colours are unique enough that I feel like it is worth the money.

Colourful mascara isn’t an every day thing, but it seems to be coming back this summer. Last year, I bought two of he Ciate Lash Lights in Nymph and Famous. They are awesome for an extra pop of colour, but I recommend to use them on their own rather than on top of a black mascara to get a good amount of colour. The wand is horrible, but that’s what spoolies are for, right? NYX and many high end brands have a wide variety of colourful mascara out now as well (as these Lash Lights do not seem to be sold anymore!).

Stay tuned for a few more product recommendations and a tutorial or two all about NEONS.

Til next time, ttfn x
