#MOTD: Sunny Shadows

Remember the colourful eyeliner post that I did a few weeks ago? There is one look that I have gotten many compliments on and of course, I have been obsessing over it too and that is the Sunny shadow look. This colourful eye look is bright and sunny and perfect for a dramatic summer look.

Prime your eye with your favourite primer. I have been using the Urban Decay Primer Potion. On top to make the colour extra vibrant is the classic NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk. I blended this out with my finger before applying.

For the actual colour, I used the very vibrant 88 Colour Pallette (cool matte eyeshadow) from BH Cosmetics. I 110% recommend this if you are looking to dive into some new colours for an inexpensive but pigmented palette. I used the orange all over the lid and blended into the crease as well. Using a bright pink, I added some extra colour to the lid. I added some sparkle with a third and final shimmery coral eyeshadow.

Using Sephora’s Contour Eye Pencil in Banana, I made a wing. You can set this with a yellow from the eyeshadow palette but I didn’t have the time. Lastly, taking that initial orange shadow, I blended it under the lower lash line and added the MUFE Smokey Stretch mascara.

I love this look and wish I wrote down that face products I used because it all came together awesomely (except for the brows – I wish I had used a pencil instead of a gel).

Til next time, ttfn x
